Upper Hall, Lakefield Legion Branch 77

Our Mission Statement
"Helping preserve the past for future generations since 1989"
Objectives
To collect, preserve, exhibit and publish materials for the study of history, especially the history of the Village of Lakefield. This collection is in trust for the community and all items are to remain in the community
We hope to create an awareness in people of the part they can play, and their part in our History. We need community help in preserving and recording our history and seek acceptance, support and promotion from residents and the community.
We cover the history of Lakefield and the immediate area from pioneer beginnings circa 1820 to the present day.
History is not only years ago, today will be tomorrow's history. Your own experiences and memories are part of history! Share them with us!
